Winter ales will take center stage at SanTan Brewing’s monthly Tuesday Night Tasting at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 1.

SanTan’s popular seasonal Winter Warmer (pictured) will join two other creations made especially for the event by brewmaster Anthony Canecchia: a smoked porter and a coffee stout.

J.R. Wheeler, the Arizona rep for Colorado-based Odell Brewing, will be the featured guest. He’ll provide Odell’s Isolation Ale.

The five courses and beer pairings:

• Spinach salad with white chocolate chips and almonds (Pete’s Wicked Winter Brew)

• Chorizo-stuffed medjool dates wrapped in bacon (Isolation Ale)

• Buffalo chili and cornbread (smoked porter)

• Braised short ribs with sweet potato puree (Winter Warmer)

• Cinnamon coffee cake (coffee stout)
