Toby Keith will deliver some “Shock’N Y’all” Wednesday in Mesa. The country singer-songwriter will be on hand to celebrate the “official” grand opening of his Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill at Mesa Riverview.
The giant restaurant and bar, named after a 2003 hit song by Keith, actually opened in mid-April. The singer will take part in a press conference at 4 p.m. Wednesday, followed by an invitation-only VIP party at 5 p.m. The venue will open to the public at 8 p.m.

Really? This isnt some sort of joke? Wow.
Toby Keith to attend restaurant grand opening Wednesday
Toby Keith, an American country music singer, has expanding his restaurant chain to Arizona. And the restaurant is a perfect fit for the Mesa Riverview shopping center, partly because of its proximity to Bass Pro Shops, Mesa’s first Hyatt Place hotel, and other family entertainment.
Toby Keith has supplemented his singer/songwriter career with a chain of oversized country-themed bars restaurants, Toby Keith’s “I Love This Bar & Grill”, and will be opening a new location of his themed restaurant near Detroit at the Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills, Mich.
That’s another one of 20 more oversized country-themed Bar & Grill restaurants to be developed nationwide by 2010. And all owned by different operators.
FB…why would it be a joke? This is a great bar with his name on it. I hear that there will be other BIG NAME country artists actually performing at this place from time to time.
Is there any word on how to get the VIP tickets??
I wonder if there will be trailers set up in front to help the customers feel right at home?
FB…
You don’t realize it , because you are an elitist jerk, but regular working people go to these places. I’m willing to bet you don’t live in a “trailer” because you still lve at home with mommy.
Mitchell.. you’re sadly mistaken and shouldn’t make guess judgments about others.. however since you did Ill make one of you.. you’re the type who thinks Olive Garden is a classy place and Chili’s has great ribs.. you probably shop at Walmart and think good by it.. you have no idea that you’re sending your hard earned dollars (if you even have a job) out of the state and the community you live in.. though perhaps it doesn’t matter to you because you’re to busy getting your fill of cheap low quality food and beer at disgraceful corporate dives like Toby Keith’s.
