Stacey Anderson, a 40-year-old realtor from Scottsdale, will star in “The Cougar,” a new reality dating show that premieres April 15 on TV Land, the MTV-owned network has announced.
In the eight-episode series, which will be hosted by Vivica A. Fox, 20 men in their 20s will compete for the affections of Anderson, who, according to a network press release, is “sure to break all the stereotypes people hold about who ‘cougars’ are.”
The network says Anderson sold more than $50 million in her first year in the commercial real estate business, ranking her among the top 1 percent of realtors nationwide.
When she’s not giving “back to her community by helping to acquire affordable land for the nonprofit organization Habitat for Humanity,” she enjoys tennis, golf, hiking and swimming.
“The Cougar” is the second TV Land show this year to cast from the East Valley. “High School Reunion,” which debuted last Wednesday, features 19 members of Chandler High School’s Class of 1988. “High School Reunion” continues for seven more weeks.

I guess I’m the first to talk about The Cougar What do you think about the idea of the show? Sounds pretty good to me, I think it’s going to be a big hit. What do you think the cast members are going to be like?

I think it will make for great tv and if she is willing to exploit herself, why not. They asked me to audition for that show. Um, hell no. But I can’t wait to watch!!!!
Who really cares? Woman like these are about as deep as a kiddy pool! Not one of them can maintain their dignity. Oh wait, they never had any to begin with!

This Stacey is a complete hoooo…aside from the fact that she has mental problems..what a great role model for her kids!!! Yes..I hooked up with her several times as I’m sure many Scottsdale guys have..not bad in the sack..but she needs to stay on her meds….There is a reason she is single you know!!!
I have been saying we need a show like this for years, I think she is awesome and would luv to be in line myself.
This is an immoral show and should not be on television! Whatever happened to TV Land being a network that was “safe” , good and decent. There are alot of Americans who still enjoy shows with their family, like The Andy Griffith Show, etc. This should be pulled from the air.
as for me i think stacy looks great in the perfect set lighting, but sadly, as reality would have it she can’t be in perfect lighting all the time. thats when you can see how haggard she really is. as cole said he will enjoy learning some older woman (sexual) tricks from her. frankly thats what i think its all about anyway. she may even get engaged at the end of the show but you can bet it won’t last. besides who wants a hasbeen (read gordons remarks) with 4 kids anyway. oh and whats with that head twitch?
Stacy is a pedophile as far as I’m concerned. Poor Travis is a young 21 and obviously didn’t even know what to do with Stacyho. She is disgusting and that show should be pulled from the air. What decent person would sleep with 3 young men in 3 days. Travis was almost attacked as far as I’m concerned. She is flat out a pig.

hope jimmy came to his senses. maybe he watched her x husband #2 on tv. she’s a loser doesn’t even have her kids. she owes tons in back support and she lives in a 1 bedroom apartment. i have a $100 bet that it won’t last 6 months. i would think that if he wanted some experience with an older woman he could find one more interesting, more attractive, and not sooooooooo boring. maybe waking up next to her will make him come to his senses!

hey…she’s just a woman who got knocked up at early age….did the children thing….felt left out….now wants to try to live something she never had a chance to before…..as to the young guys……hey, guys that age have fantansies about an “older women”…..it’s a win - win situation….she gets her toy, and they get their fantasy quenched…..isn’t america great?…..LOL…..

Stacey the Cougar was convicted of reckless driving in Scottsdale, AZ in December, 2005 and her drivers license was then suspended. She did not report the incident to the Real Estate Department within 10 days as required so her real estate license was then also suspended. I don’t know how it would be possible to sell millions of dollars of property without access to driving a vehicle. And even if she did get her driver’s license back during the past couple years, Phoenix has had one of the highest foreclosure rates in the country. So her claims of real estate sales are a little far-fetched.
Her ex-husband is sounding more credible after seeing this. Also Stacey is an attractive woman for her age and in good shape. But her clothes were cheap and outdated and not the wardrobe of a successful businesswoman of Scottsdale. I was surprised that the producers didn’t provide with something more classy to wear at least for the dates in Vegas. Her ex-husband’s story makes more sense than her’s.
