Oasian Noodle Bar, which opened in September 2005 on the northeast corner of Val Vista Drive and Baseline Road in Mesa, has closed. The restaurant offered noodle and soup dishes highlighting the flavors of Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Hong Kong.

I loved Oasian when it first opened, and co-workers and I regularly drove over to Dana Park. It was the recipient of Get Out Eating & Drinking Awards in 2006 and 2007.

For the past year, though, I found the food quality very inconsistent. I hadn’t been back to Oasian since February … until today. Signs on the doors read, “Oasian Noodle Bar will be closed for good. Thank you for your support.”
