D’Arcy McGee’s, a Canadian chain of Irish pubs and restaurants, will open its first Arizona location May 23 next to the Harkins Theatres at Tempe Marketplace.
The menu will feature such Irish fare as Donegal fishermen’s chowder, leek and salmon pie and Rosslare lamb shank. Irish beers will include Guinness, Harp, Smithwick’s, Kilkenny and Strongbow, and five types of Irsh whiskey will be available.
The 5,000-square-foot interior will accommodate 166 people, with room for another 64 on the patio.
D’Arcy McGee’s, 2000 E. Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe, will be open 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Info: (480) 557-9087 or darcymcgees.ca.

The restaurant hours are wrong. It should be 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This sounds good. The East Valley needs a good Irish Pub. All the best Irish Pubs are in Phoenix. Jess, when do you plan on reviewing this place?
