Princess resort’s La Hacienda to remain open through 2008

It was sad day for East Valley foodies when the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess announced in March that its AAA four-diamond Mexican restaurant La Hacienda would close in April. Now for some good news: La Hacienda is still open.

A spokesperson says the resort’s owners have changed their plans and have decided to keep the restaurant open at least through the end of 2008.

This is good news! However, it doesn’t seem that they really know what they are doing over there at the Princess.. since Chef Reed left that place has just been a complete zoo!
