Readers point out Thai restaurants in east Mesa

May 9th, 2008, 12:22 pm · 1 Comment · posted by Jess Harter

After mentioning in this week’s restaurant review of Papaya Thai that I wasn’t aware of any other Thai restaurants in east Mesa, readers were quick to fill me in. Bruce Phillips was the first of many to remind me about Tum Nak Thai, a tasty place I totally forgot about on the southwest corner of Power and Baseline roads. (Read our former dining critic’s review.)

Jean Bowman says “the food is outstanding” at family-run Thai Corner Cafe on the southeast corner of Higley and Brown roads. It’s just east of the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre. Margaret Martin likes a pair of Gilbert restaurants, Mint Thai and Bola Thai, that are just outside the Mesa city limits.

Finally, Steve Bruzonsky reports that recently closed Mike Thai will be reopened this month by the former owners of Benjarong Thai.
