Joe’s Real BBQ to give away free sandwiches Wednesday

Joe’s Real BBQ holds its annual Free Food Day on Wednesday, May 7. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., the downtown Gilbert restaurant will give away pulled pork and chopped brisket sandwiches, barbecue pit beans, cole slaw, soft drinks and bottled water.
Customers are allowed one meal for the day. No other menu items will be available, and meals cannot be taken to go. Joe’s, 301 N. Gilbert Road, served 5,200 free meals at last year’s event. Info: (480) 503-3805.
