This restaurant is a great! The Southwest Burger has the best kick. You can also bring small dogs to the patio.

Frances — I stand corrected. During several visits to Pier 54, day and night, the building was closed and, I assumed, unoccupied. I’ve updated the story. Thanks for the information.

We’ve enjoyed the food from this restaurant, and highly recommend it. I’m adding a note to the reviewers comment that the building to the north of Pier 54 is unoccupied. In fact, the building is THE WATERFRONT, an event facility which overlooks the same manmade lake. It’s a lovely facility - we’ve held two annual meetings there, and are extremely pleased with the location, size, staff support, flexibility, ambience… Your writer did them a disservice by referring to the former restaurant as “unoccupied.”

I totally agree with this article! Although I’m a little sad it was written… Now other people will find this fun restaurant with the great view!
