Although it’s been open for several weeks, Sutra Sushi, which took over the former La Rouge martini lounge off the patio at Barcelona Steakhouse and Nightclub in north Scottsdale, celebrated its grand opening over the weekend.

Chef Tetsuya Lederhouse (Blue Wasabi, Zen 32) offers a menu of offbeat “tapanese” small plates, including a Daibutsu oversized roll stuffed with shrimp tempura, spicy crab mix, avocado and cucumbers, topped with tempura flakes and served with four sauces.
