Terre de Trinci winemaker Lodovico Mattoni will be the featured guest at seven-course wine-tasting dinner Wednesday at Firesky Resort & Spa’s coastal Italian restaurant Taggia.
The menu includes yellow fin tuna carpaccio, pan-seared diver scallops, grilled guanciale-wrapped quail stuffed with sausage, pan-seared duck breast with rasscherry demi and goat cheese polenta, roasted lamb chop with Umbrian beans and porcini mushrooms, braised mini osso bucco and poached pears with balsamic berry compote and honey mascarpone.
A reception will start at 7 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $80, including tax and gratuity.
